After decades of raising six children between our two families and juggling the demands of school, sports and corporate life, we recognized the need for a place where people could slow down, enjoy quality time and share sweet treats. After over 50 years living in this community – growing up eating Ice cream and hanging out at the various places in Concord, we decided it was time to bring the nostalgia and community back. The ice cream parlors, skating rinks, and local diners do not exist anymore, leaving a gap for families and friends to connect.

 

Our vision is to create a safe, fun place for people to connect with each other and the community.

We serve premium Ice Cream,  including unique flavors not currently available in the East Bay, served in glassware for an authentic soda fountain experience. Whether it's the old fashion soda fountain, serving Cherry Lime Rickey's and New York Egg creams to a more modern Italian soda, or a good 'ole Root Beer Float,  a variety of Sundae's or scoops of our premium ice cream. (We serve Mitchell's Ice cream from San Francisco) we have an experience for everyone. The shoppe also features homemade baked goods – including small pies, large pies to order, cookies, and a variety of other baked goods. We also serve fresh locally roaseted coffee. 

 

What sets us apart from other ice cream parlors or bakeries is the experience our guests will get by frequenting our shoppe. What people will get when they walk into our shoppe is a sense of community and nostalgia, of a time when life was slower, and you sat down, sipped a soda and drank your coffee and indulged in ice cream and sweet treats.
